Some students yet to report to schools despite calmness in clash prone areas

Nakuru County director of education Isaac Atebe has said that despite normalcy returning back to the clash areas of Nessuit, Marishoni and Ndoswa in Njoro and Molo sub-counties respectively, some of the schools still experience absenteeism of some learners who have not gone resumed back their studies.

Speaking in his office, Atebe said that majority of the schools have picked up and preparing for the national examinations that is scheduled to kick in some weeks to come.

He lauded the report released by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) on some of the counties on the watch list for cheating saying that Nakuru county has not featured and cautioned the principals and all the examinations managers against complacency saying that strictness should be upheld at all times.
