Nakuru Speaker Joel Maina Kairu has told off men who have a habit of impregnating young girls.
Speaking at Bondeni Primary school in Biashara Ward on Saturday during a pass out of over 100 boys who had undergone circumcision, speaker Kairu said it was wrong and a crime for men engage in such inhumane acts.
He called on society not to relent in reporting such men so that action can be taken against them.
“Men let us be human and stop messing the lives of young school girls for we will be messing the future” said Kairu.
Sentiments echoed by Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika who in a quick rejoinder at the same function said such men have no space in society.
According to Senator Kihika men who impregnate young school girls do not qualify to be called men but they should face the ruthless arm of the law.
“Those who impregnate young school girls and mess up their lives do not even qualify to be called men. Their place is prison” said Kihika.
Meanwhile Senator Kihika also called for the need for society not to invest so much in the girl child and neglect the boy child.
