Nakuru to host 4th Annual Devolution Conference

Nakuru County is set to host the fourth Annual Devolution Conference slated for February 24 next year, thanks to intense lobbying by Nakuru elected Senator James Kiarie Mungai.
The 4th Annual Devolution Conference is expected to host at least a good number of delegates both locally and internationally.
Speaking after lobbying for the county to host the event, Senator Mungai said the conference will open up the county for both local and foreign investors who would wish to invest in the county.
Mr Mungai who is also gunning for gubernatorial seat in 2017 saidthat through the week -long event, members of the business community as well as hoteliers are set to reap big, given the county’s capacity to accommodate and serve a large number of visitors.
“Nakuru’s business community and especially those in the Hotel Industry will benefit greatly from the event. I urge the business community as well as hoteliers to explore ways of maximizing opportunities from the conference that will be one of its kinds,” said Senator Mungai.
He added that there will also be a need to engage the public through awareness campaigns to sensitize them on the importance of the conference.
