A high school principal who disappeared last week in Murang’a has been found killed and the body dumped at a coffee plantation.
Mr. Solomon Mwangi the principal of Kiru High School in Mathioya, Murang’a disappeared last Sunday evening on the eve of starting the KCSE exams. The police have been searching for him the whole week.
On Saturday last week, teachers from around Murang’a had held a prayer meeting on behalf of the missing colleague where they had threatened to take mass action if Mr. Mwangi was not found. Also in attendance at the meeting were Murang’a women rep Hon. Sabina Chege and MP Clement Wambugu.
According to the CID Boss in Murang’a DCIO Japheth Maingi, the body of the senior teacher who has been missing for a week was discovered at a coffee plantation in Juja, Kiambu.
Speaking to the media, Mrs. Jane Mwangi the wife to the deceased said that her husband had disappeared on Sunday evening and they had spent an anxiety feeled one week looking for him.
“I had called him late on Sunday night but his phone was not going through. I thought maybe his phone’s battery had died,” said Mrs. Mwangi
