21 more gambling machines have been netted in Nakuru County in the ongoing crackdown on Chinese gaming machines.
The machines were netted following an operation conducted in Kaptembwa estate earlier on Thursday.
Barut assistant county commissioner Mannasses Chiuri said that during that the operation 2000 litres of miti ni dawa were also netted during the operation conducted together with administration police officers.
One suspect fled and is being traced by police.
The commissioner said that the gaming machines will be destroyed on Friday.
He added that those operating the machines have been developing tactics to evade arrest adding that they will make every effort to arrest them.
He said that most of them are hiding them near Ndarugu river where manufacture of illicit brews also take place at night.
He called on members of the public to co-operate with security personnel in order to curb crime in their areas.
